CaixaBank has expanded the service it provides in the Canary Islands through its commercial network, with the launch of an ATM in the municipality of Betancuria, in Fuerteventura. In this way, the bank expands its reach to all the municipalities of the archipelago, making the Canary Islands the only region in the country with 100% financial coverage.
The bank has a network of 230 retail branches in the Canary Islands, of which a total of 108 (47%) are located in small towns with less than 10,000 inhabitants. In 22 municipalities, CaixaBank is the only entity present, thus fulfilling its commitment not to abandon any locality in which it is the only bank.
