Antigua’s seniors train to compete in the 2025 Neurolympics
– Antigua is hard at work training two teams for the second edition of the Neuromajos.
– The Senior Center is too small for Antigua’s Neuromajos teams, who will continue their training discipline at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
The Mayor, Matías Peña and the Councilor for Social Services, América Soto, have witnessed one of the weekly training sessions of the two teams of Antigua’s Seniors who are participating in the Neuromajos 2025.
A fun training with different tests of agility, marksmanship and team coordination, says the mayor of Antigua, who adds, in addition to very healthy physically, are very fun and promote the union to overcome always in a good mood and increasingly in better shape of all and all participants.
After the success of the Neuromajos tests last year, this new edition is a new challenge in which registrations have increased in Antigua to the point of having to create two teams, says the councilor of Social Services.
This is an initiative that allows to spend very good times that in turn promote health, welfare and promotes and maintains the social, physical and mental autonomy of our elders, says Councilwoman America Soto.
