Antigua proposes to hikers to walk the trail from Corralejo to Lajares
– The registration period is open until next Monday, April 21, through the Entry Register and with preference to people registered in Antigua.
– The second route of the Antigua se mueve program will take place on the 26th of this month, proposing a 13-kilometer trail of medium difficulty.
– Registration is free, the routes are guided with an explanation of the main historical, cultural and fauna characteristics of the environment, offering a final plastering.
The Antigua se mueve program, says Mayor Matías Peña García, offers guides on each route explaining geological features or the stories that took place in each place, as well as facilitating travel and always guaranteeing a final snack to regain strength while discussing the route.
The walking program Antigua se mueve, organized by the Youth and Sports Departments of the Antigua Town Hall, offers the second route announced, covering 13 kilometers from Corralejo to Lajares, which will take place on Saturday, April 26.
Registration is free of charge and the application period is open until Monday 21 of this month, and the application must be formalized by registering at the Antigua Town Hall, at the Mayor’s Office in Caleta de Fuste or online at the website www.ayto-antigua.es.
This year’s hiking program offers routes of varying difficulty through the most impressive places of the different municipalities, says the councilman of Youth, Pedro Armas, even offering to participate in an upcoming hike in the Alto del Jurado gambuesa or a night route.
The full program of Antigua se Mueve proposes seven routes, which were successfully carried out last Saturday with a large number of registered walkers, the trail from Antigua to Valle de Santa Inés, without missing the breaks in the shade and the final meeting to discuss the moments and the healthy practice of walking, details the Councillor for Sports, Samuel Torres.
