Antigua presents a Municipal Budget of more than 20 million euros
– This Thursday at 09:00 hours in plenary session, the Government Group of the Town Hall of Antigua presents the General Budget 2025.
– Antigua confirms and increases by 700,000 euros a Municipal Budget amounting to 20,694,791.19 euros.
The Town Council of Antigua holds a plenary session presided by the Mayor, Matías Peña García, this Thursday, May 29 at 09:00 hours in the main hall of the Consistory, presenting among other items on the Agenda, the Municipal Budgets agreed by the Government Group, maintaining the historical increase of the previous year, exceeding 20 million euros this year.
The Mayor, Matías Peña, appreciates the effort made by all the councils adjusting their expenses according to the needs of public service, events and municipal projects proposed during this year. As well as highlights the involvement once again of the young municipal technical team drafter of the Budget formed by Treasurer, Comptroller and Secretary.
The 2025 Municipal Budgets are presented in the amount of 20,694,791.19 euros, increasing by more than 700,000 euros with respect to the previous fiscal year, confirming financial stability and balance in both expenses and income.
Among the priorities included in the Municipal Budget to be presented for approval this Thursday in plenary session, detailed the mayor, is the improvement of street cleaning services and waste collection, as well as the inclusion of the cleaning contract of the new CEIP El Castillo or the guarantee of school transport.
