Antigua organizes the Creando Arte en Verano (Creating Art in Summer) Cultural Camp
– The cultural centers of Caleta de Fuste, Triquivijate, Valles de Ortega and the Library of Antigua host the Creando Arte en Verano Cultural Camp.
– Free registration through the Entry Register from June 23 to 30, being a requirement to be registered in the Municipality of Antigua and be between 11 and 16 years old.
The City Council of Antigua from the Department of Culture organizes and announces a Cultural Summer Camp with free registration, offering 50 places, the only two requirements are to be registered in the Municipality of Antigua and be between 11 and 16 years old.
We want to continue promoting culture in all its artistic and creative aspects, being one of the best leisure alternatives to enjoy that can have, in this case, the young people of the municipality, says the mayor, Matias Peña Garcia.
The camp aims to offer an educational, artistic and recreational experience through activities taught by professionals specialized in different disciplines such as dance, music, theater, film, literature or a DJ workshop, explains the area councilman, Jonathan Peña, it is to offer a quality cultural alternative during the summer for school-age adolescents.
The summer camp proposal seeks to promote the integral development of participants through activities that enhance creativity, teamwork, artistic expression and critical thinking, while promoting healthy and enriching leisure.
The Creando Arte en Verano (Creating Art in Summer) Cultural Camp during the month of July, during the morning hours from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, offers dance, music, theater, circus, literature, cinema and DJ activities that will roam the cultural centers of the municipality, beginning in Caleta de Fuste from 7 to 11, in Triquivijate from 14 to 18, in Valles de Ortega from 21 to 25 and in the Library of Antigua from 28 to 1 August.
