The Town Council of Antigua from the Department of Youth is organizing with the Cibervoluntarios Foundation, a free Digital Camp in August from 09:00 to 14:00 hours from 4 to 8 for young people from 14 to 17 years old, inclusive and from 11 to 14 August for boys and girls from 9 to 13 years old, inclusive.
The Digital Camp, says the Councilor for Youth, Pedro M. Armas Martín, will provide digital skills with Digcomp certificate, i.e. in the framework of the European Union Next Generation.
Providing tools in the digital use of devices, allows to gain security in their use and to differentiate possible deceptions or intentions in networks, as well as to know useful and practical applications and programs or websites that can be very useful in their digital development.
To encourage young people to participate and take advantage and digital knowledge that marks the current times, says the mayor, Matias Peña, provide tools is also to provide them with personal criteria to make better use of networks or applications.
The mayor recalls that the Antigua Town Hall from Youth, in addition to this Digital Camp, has also organized a program of activities and excursions for the young people of the Municipality, with completely free registration.
