Antigua extends the application deadlines for the Education and Sociocultural Grants.
– Subsidies aimed at Sociocultural Associations, groups, foundations and Ampas of the Municipality of Antigua may be applied for until August 2, inclusive.
– Education Grants may be applied for up to and including August 8.
– Applications must be submitted through the Antigua Town Hall, Tenencia de Alcaldía in Caleta de Fuste or through the website www.ayto-antigua.es.
The City Council of Antigua warns of the extension of deadlines for the Subsidies to cover expenses to the Sociocultural Associations, until August 2, inclusive, and those to support needs in Education, until August 8, inclusive.
The City Council of Antigua allocates an allocation of 90,000 euros in both calls, the Department of Education with 45,000 euros and the Department of Culture with 45,000 euros, says the mayor, Matias Peña, both areas led by respectively by Councilwoman America Soto, and Councilman Jonathan Peña.
The subsidy directed to the Sociocultural Associations, groups, foundations and Ampas of the Municipality of Antigua is aimed at supporting the cost of training and artistic activities, exhibitions, events, trips, theatrical plays, concerts, or other proposals.
The Education Grant supports 2024/2025 costs of accommodation or transportation for students studying outside the island or the Municipality of Antigua, as well as the purchase of school supplies and textbooks for the 2025/2026 academic year in order to support students and their families in the Municipality, supporting and facilitating as much as possible their education and continuity.
Applications must be submitted through the Antigua Town Hall, Tenencia de Alcaldía in Caleta de Fuste or through the website www.ayto-antigua.es.
