Antigua agrees with Chamber of Commerce to promote Professional Training Days
– The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce confirm the promotion, beautification and modernization of the main zones, streets and commercial areas of the Municipality of Antigua.
The Mayor, Matias Peña Garcia and the Councillor for Commerce, Giuseppe Signorino have held this Tuesday morning, April 22, a meeting with representatives of the Internal Trade Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Fuerteventura.
During the meeting, the mayor explained the important improvements in those streets, avenues and pedestrian areas of towns and villages such as Valles de Ortega, Casillas de Morales and Caleta de Fuste where the completion this year of projects worth more than 20 million euros has meant a modernization and boost to their commercial areas and welfare for resident families, or tourists who visit us.
This meeting between the Chamber of Commerce and the Municipality of Antigua gives continuity to the agreement adopted at the end of last year to coordinate actions for the benefit and development of stores and service establishments in the Municipality, said the chamber representative, Daniela Plotegher, who pointed out that she had personally verified the modernization and improvement of accesses or beautification of the main commercial areas of the Municipality.
Both institutions will maintain these contact and coordination meetings, promoting, among other actions, the organization of professional training sessions aimed at providing management, promotion and sales resources to owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
