More than a hundred youngsters complete the Summering in Antigua activities
– After the success of registrations begin the first activities of the youth program Summering in Antigua.
– This Thursday, July 17, young people have participated in the first refreshing excursion organized by the Department of Youth.
–The Antigua City Council from the Youth Department organizes six fun activities, excursions and team games during the summer, all of them free of charge.
This Thursday, July 17, the young people enrolled in the first activity of the program organized by the City Council of Antigua from the Department of Youth, Summering in Antigua, enjoyed a refreshing trip to AcuaWaterPark in Corralejo.
The City of Antigua to each group and in each proposed activity, provides travel and free admission to each activity, details the councilman Pedro M. Armas, the only thing that young people have to worry about is to bring the right shoes and clothing.
According to the councilman of Youth, Pedro M. Armas, the idea is to offer them the opportunity to share group activities that provide them with fun, adventure, or outdoor experiences that will surely remain in their memories.
These activities for young people are complemented during the summer with the Children’s Sports Mornings organized by the Department of Sports or Cultural Camps organized by the Department of Culture or festivities and summer concert program from the City of Antigua are organized for everyone and all tastes, adds Mayor Matias Peña Garcia.
The program for young people, Summering in Antigua starts this Thursday 17th with a visit to Acua Water Park Corralejo and next July 23rd will be Karting races and Paintball games. In the month of August, water activities, horseback riding, and an outing on a catamaran, closing the program, a closing party with snacks for all participants, who will have the opportunity to remember and share fun moments.
