Beach Party returns after five years more modern and ambitious with Caleta Sound Fest
Chambao and Luck Ra headline the Caleta Sound Fest line-up
– Caleta Sound Fest on the beach of El Castillo on Friday 1 and Saturday August 2 in a marathon of concerts, musical tributes and DJs.
– Gastronomic area, wide accesses, space conditioned for people with reduced mobility.
– Financed by the City Council of Antigua with 300,000 euros and the contribution of 35,000 euros from the Cabildo of Fuerteventura.
This Wednesday morning took place at the Town Hall of Antigua, the presentation of the return of the Beach Party as Caleta Sound Fest, after five years without being held, returns with more momentum, more modern and for all public profiles, young and family, being held again in its original location, the beach of El Castillo.
The mayor of Antigua, Matias Peña has highlighted the effort made by the technical team and the Department of Tourism to recover after five years this musical event in Caleta de Fuste for residents of the municipality and the island, as for tourists who visit us. The investment effort of the Town Council of Antigua is extraordinary, allocating 300,000 euros, so we ask the Island Council, said the mayor, to consider increasing its contribution from 35,000 euros to 100,000 euros next year in order to support this festival, and thus be able to maintain other municipal events scheduled in the town.
For its part, the Councillor for Tourism, Marlene Figueroa, has collected the request that will be assessed to increase the item from the Tourist Board, adding Caleta Sound Fest to the 22 events subsidized in a nominated way on the island. The councilor has congratulated the effort and the result obtained by the City of Antigua, recovering Caleta Sound Fest, which offers more quality and a new space for leisure, fun and musical reference to Fuerteventura.
The Councillor for Tourism, Kristina Rodewig has highlighted the performance of two protagonists in the music scene such as Luck Ra and Chambao to which are added DJs, musical tributes and new groups that we will be announcing. Two intense days, in a privileged area such as the beach, and adds the Rodewig, with a modern gastronomic area, wide access and reserved area for the convenience of people with reduced mobility, in addition to the violet point preventive and informative. All this starring a large stage on which concerts will take place from 17:00 hours on Friday 1 or from 12:00 noon on Saturday August 2 and until dawn. The councilor is grateful for the involvement beyond the professional involvement of the technical councilor Javier Rodriguez Sosa.
