Women carry Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Las Salinas in Procession
In Las Salinas, in keeping with tradition, it is the women who carry Our Lady of Mount Carmel on their shoulders in a maritime procession.
A crowded procession in honor of Our Lady of Carmen held this Sunday at noon in Las Salinas and at full tide, thus closing a holiday that have highlighted by a high participation of neighbors, large attendance at their dances and festivities with a family atmosphere, safe and responsible.
Among so many volunteers, all those who fulfilled the Promise carried Our Lady of Carmen on their shoulders, accompanied on the coastal promenade by applause and cheers as well as the Parranda de Juan Peña along the way and on arrival being received by the parranda El Campillo.
