This summer the Town Hall of Antigua offers a program of activities in the mornings for children between 4 and 11 years of age, allowing them to combine their enjoyment of the vacations with work schedules in the family.
The Sports Mornings are organized in Caleta de Fuste and Antigua every morning from 08:30 to 14:30 hours, enjoying team games, sports tournaments, water parties, excursions and numerous activities to surprise and amuse them, says the Councilman of Sports, Samuel Torres.
The Cultural Camps are a pioneer activity in the Municipality and I think also in the island, explains the councilman of the area, Jonathan Peña, they are itinerant, being taught in Caleta de Fuste, next week in Triquivijate, the following week in Valles de Ortega and ending in Antigua. Their success is reflected in the enthusiasm of the children, who enjoy in the same morning dance choreographies, theatrical staging games or circus, musical or film techniques.
Registration for the Cultural Camps as the Sports Mornings is completely free, and simply must be formalized by Registry Entry until places are filled, says the mayor, Matias Peña, who adds, in addition to these two group activities throughout the morning are complemented by the children’s parties organized this season in each village, or with the Festivities on the beach of El Castillo every Friday morning, in addition to the summer program exposed to young people or municipal schools that maintain their classes.
Summer activities for everyone, no one has to stay at home and also provide completely free registration and participation open to everyone, concludes the mayor of Antigua, Matias Peña.
