The new beach soccer fields are added to the calisthenics park and the shaded area inaugurated in February, consolidating an integral environment for physical practice in Morro Jable.
The government of Pájara hopes to enable a sports area in the town of Costa Calma.
The City Council of Pájara finalizes the creation of a sports leisure area on the beach of El Matorral, in the town of Morro Jable, with the installation of two new beach soccer fields. These facilities complement the calisthenics park and the shaded area inaugurated last February, forming an area dedicated entirely to sport and physical activity in the open air.
The councilman of Beaches, Raimundo Dacosta, highlights the importance of this new space. “From this government group we continue to improve and expand our public use areas, in this case with a strong commitment to healthy practice in natural environments. The Matorral enclave is ideal for this type of facilities that not only promote health, but also social coexistence,” he remarks.
For his part, the councilman of Sports, José Benito, underlines the relevance of this action for the citizenship. “With this intervention we complete an offer designed for the active enjoyment of the population. This type of action reflects our commitment to the welfare of all, and we will continue working to extend this model to other parts of the municipality, generating more accessible facilities for outdoor physical activity,” he says.
The mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, says that “this new sports facility responds to a long-standing demand of our neighbors, who increasingly choose sport as a form of leisure. With this, we reinforce our commitment to an active and healthy life, offering varied alternatives in a privileged environment,” he says.
With the addition of these two beach soccer fields, the sports leisure area of El Matorral beach is consolidated as one of the most complete environments of the municipality for outdoor physical practice, responding to the needs of different user profiles.
