Antigua’s hiking program goes from Apañada to Alto del Jurado

– Registration is now open through the Registrar’s Office up to and including Friday, May 23rd.
– The third route proposes to participate in the Apañada that climbs to the top of the Jurado in a hike of medium difficulty of six kilometers.
– Registration is free and the Town Hall of Antigua facilitates the displacement from Antigua to the starting point of the route, as well as provides a guide on route and final plastering.

The City Council of Antigua recalls that it is already open until next Friday, May 23, inclusive, the registration period for the third hiking route Antigua se mueve.

Registration is free and the Town Hall of Antigua facilitates the displacement from Antigua to the starting point of the route, as well as provides a guide on route and final plastering.

This third route proposed and organized by the councils of Youth and Sports, coordinated respectively by the mayors Pedro Armas and Samuel Torres, is included in the program Antigua moves, and proposes next Saturday June 14 a walk of medium difficulty and four hours in duration, reaching the gambuesa in the Alto del Jurado, accompanying the apañada scheduled for the date.

A plan of seven healthy walks of varying difficulty and for all ages, facilitating travel from Antigua, providing a team of guides explaining each step along the way, and offering a final lunch to regain strength, explains the mayor, Matias Peña.

Antigua se Mueve is a program of a total of seven walks, being the following proposals, climbing the Jurado mountain, walking from Valles de Ortega to Tiscamanita in a night route, in July from Guisguey to La Caldereta, in September from Antigua to Agua de Bueyes and in October from Pájara to Cardón.
