The application period for a table for the Baile de Taifas in Antigua is now open.
– Day of the Canary Islands, May 30, in the square of Antigua from 13:00 to 19:00 hours with Gran Baile de Taifas.
– The Application for the table must be submitted through the Antigua Town Hall, Tenencia de Alcaldía in Caleta de Fuste or through the electronic site.
– The deadline for submitting applications is May 20.
The City Council of Antigua from the Department of Culture organizes the celebration of the Day of the Canary Islands, on May 30, with a great Baile de Taifas.
Until May 20 is open the application period for families, groups or associations interested in participating, says the councilman of Culture, Jonathan Peña, only need to indicate the name of the applicant and number of diners in the application to be submitted by Register Entry.
In order to celebrate the Day of the Canary Islands with the colorfulness it deserves, a reflection of our history, we encourage all participants who identify with our tradition and land, to come dressed up and show their best Canarian attire, adds Jonathan Peña.
The Day of the Canary Islands in Antigua is characterized each year as a close and welcoming celebration, where families, groups of friends and neighbors, clubs and associations become hosts of this town, with tables full of stews, stews and Canarian dishes, each one tastier, says the mayor, Matias Peña Garcia.
