Antigua collaborates with the inclusive project Guadelante Canarias
– With the slogan We get to where you are, the City Council of Antigua will provide all the means needed by those responsible for the Foundation for Equality and Inclusion in the Canary Islands, CEPAIM.
– Guadelante visits Antigua in mid-June with its informative bus and a training day for specific professionals and direct care personnel.
The Mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña and the Councilor for Social Services, América Soto, have met with representatives of the Foundation for Equality and Inclusion, CEPAIM, who have presented the social, inclusive and proximity project, Guadelante Canarias.
Guadelante is the term that unites the Guagua in which we will visit each town in order to advance, inform and always go forward with insertion, inclusion and equality in all areas of coexistence, in an operation, says the representative of the Foundation, which we call Adelante Canarias.
Guadelante visits Antigua from June 17 to 19, collecting needs, requests and questions in each locality, giving direct answers on the spot, informing and interconnecting people, companies, entities, associations and social networks.
An ambitious project in its objectives and small in its needs, in which we will collaborate from the Municipality of Antigua, says the mayor, Matias Peña.
This project, adds the area councilor, América Soto, adds and complements those we currently have underway in the Municipality of Antigua, supporting associations aimed at families in vulnerable situations, insertion, migration, training and promoting healthy habits.
