The Sports Department of the City Council of Tuineje has published the sports program for the week of April 21 to 27. A calendar full of competitions that will take place in different localities of the municipality, highlighting the participation of local teams in disciplines such as soccer, indoor soccer and canary ball.
The soccer field of Gran Tarajal will host much of the activity, including amateur 7-a-side soccer matches, 11-a-side soccer for children and cadets, as well as 8-a-side soccer matches in Benjamin and Alevín categories. Among the most anticipated matches, highlights the senior indoor soccer clash between CD Isla Larga and Basilea, to be held on Saturday 26 at 17:00 pm in the Polideportivo de Gran Tarajal.
Other localities of the municipality as Tiscamanita, Las Playitas and Tuineje will also be the scene of intense sporting activity. In Las Playitas there will be multiple matches of the base categories of CD Breñamen, including the Women’s 11-a-side Football match against the Casa Pastores team on Sunday 27 at 1:00 pm.
The traditional canary ball also has its place in the agenda, with duels such as the one between La Entallada and Morro Jable on Friday 25 at the Campo de Lucha de Las Playitas.
The City Council recalls that event schedules may be subject to change and encourages citizens to attend and support grassroots and federated sports in the municipality.
