The XXXVI Insular Crafts Fair offers every day of celebration, open and free craft workshops, in which the same craftsmen and craftswomen teach basic techniques of crafts such as macramé, learning to join in knots ropes and threads to make bracelets or hangers, You can also learn to differentiate the textures of muds and know which is the most suitable for a piece or another, or enjoy with decorations and dyes on fabrics to design your own shirts, and you can also work the leather to make bracelets, purses even leather bags.
The Mayor of Antigua, congratulates the craftsmen and craftswomen not only for the quality of the work exhibited but also for the design and decoration that they give to the stands, many turning them into workshops to understand what their trade consists of and how difficult it is.
On this occasion, says the mayor, Matias Peña, congratulated each participating municipality, as well as the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, highlighting its presence in the institutional tent, with spectacular designs, showing tradition, and characteristic beads in each Canarian house.
