The Department of Sports of the City Council of Pajara has participated today in the official delivery of Karate belts to the students of the CAM El Jable who have reached this level after years of training. The event took place in the Karate hall located in the Campo de Lucha de Morro Jable.
During the event, the councilman of Sports, José Benito Alonso, was present, who wanted to accompany the students and was in charge of handing out the diplomas.
The councilman has valued the effort, perseverance and discipline that this sport transmits. “These are fundamental values for the personal and sporting growth of our young people,” he said, also reaffirmed the commitment of the City Council with the promotion of grassroots sport and support for disciplines that contribute to the integral development of youth.
On this occasion, four young athletes have managed to reach the black belt, culminating a stage of demand and commitment to Karate. From the City Council of Pájara we want to congratulate Athenea García, Lucía Barry, Helena Lorenzo and Carlos Fonseca for this important sporting merit.
