The City Council of La Oliva, through the Department of Sports, under the command of Gleiber Carreño, opens the application period for two of its three lines of sports subsidies. On this occasion, interested parties may apply, first, the grant for the organization or creation of municipal sports schools, an area that will be allocated a total of 100,000 euros. In turn, the Department opens the application period for aid to the area of sporting events 2025, with a total fund of 70,000 euros.
The mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, says: “It is essential for us, from the Administration, to continue showing our support to the municipal sports sector. The objective continues to be to promote sporting activity in all sectors of the population. From our youngest neighbors, to the elderly, through the promotion of our quality sporting events, in order to generate tourism to experience not only the sport to La Oliva, but is, in turn responsible with the care of the environment.”
The Councilor for Sports, Gleiber Carreño, says: “From the Department of Sports we continue to bet on our grassroots sport, without neglecting the quality and implementation of its annual sporting events. These grants are key to further progress in the field of sports and the promotion of physical activity in the municipality.”
The deadline for submitting applications and documentation ends next April 25 inclusive.
