The Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through the Department of Education, has opened the call for applications for its Scholarships for Practical Training, aimed at students of vocational training and university degree who are completing their studies in this course. Interested persons can submit their applications until April 25, on the website becaspracticas.cabildofuer.es
The president of the Cabildo, Lola García, highlights the value of a pioneering program which, for more than twenty years, has offered a job opportunity to more than 3,000 students. The program allows them to have a first approach to the labor market, doing their internships not only in the Cabildo, but also in town halls and other collaborating entities.
“The training of our young people is one of the main priorities of this Corporation. Encourage and support the youth of the island so that they have adequate training for their incorporation into the labor market,” says the Councilor for Education, Adargoma Hernandez.
