The Corporation invests more than 83,000 euros in new LED luminaires and in the modernization of the electrical network.
The City Council of Pájara, through the Department of Cemeteries, completed the renovation and installation of the new lighting system in the municipal cemetery of Morro Jable, an action framed within the municipal infrastructure improvement plan. The project involved an investment of more than 83,000 euros, earmarked for the improvement of the electrical network.
The first deputy mayor and councilman of Works, Alexis Alonso, highlights the importance of this action, which is “a demand of all the neighbors of the locality”. “The works have consisted of the complete replacement of the old lighting system with new LED technology luminaires,” he points out.
Likewise, the Councilman of Cemeteries, José Benito Alonso, adds that, “with this renovation we not only improve safety in the enclosure, especially in times of low light, but also respond to the commitment of the City Council to maintain in optimal conditions the public spaces that are part of our community life”.
For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, stresses the commitment of the government group with the improvement of municipal services. “We continue betting on more modern, efficient and environmentally friendly infrastructures”, he remarked.
In addition to the new luminaire, the wiring and electrical panels were renewed, with the aim of improving energy consumption and durability of the installation. In this way, the City Council will continue to implement improvements in other public spaces in Pájara, within its strategy of renovation and maintenance of infrastructure.
